Music defines who I am, my past, my present. It is the Soundtrack of my Life.

Although I've always been and will always be a fan of 80's metal and classic rock, I've really grown to love acoustic and country music over the past year. I've come to appreciate the hard work and sweat that goes into writing a really good song and have learned to really listen to the message the songwriter is trying to convey. I really don't suffer too much from MGD ("musical genre discrimination")as you can tell by my ever changing playlist, which rotates based on moods, who's pissed me off or who's made me smile. That's what music is all about and what I'm about.

Music not only consists of the beat and the melodies, but lyrics. Lyrics are the very soul of a song. They can bring out emotions you didn't realize were hiding inside of you. They can make you happy, they can make you sad, they can make you laugh and they can make you cry. Sometimes you just need to sit and get beyond the melody and just listen to what the song is saying.

I strongly support independent artists and the unsigned and undiscovered singer/songwriters. I will always do what I can to help them as they are the ones that give the true gift of music, the gift of themselves and the gift of what's in their heart. Music isn't a hobby to them, it's a passion and a way of life. How can you not support that?
